Which one is best to choose? Roof repairs or replacements:

If you are observing minor external damages and small leaks to your roof, then it can be as simple as repairing a small section. If you see leaks or shingles blown out from multiple areas, it is advised to consider replacing your roof. Your selection depends on your budget, condition of the roof, age of the roof, and your future plan (i.e. how many years you want to stay in that building).

Repair: Roof repair service is quick and fast to refine the specific damage area of the roof. It will not increase the lifespan of the roof, so you can choose this option in case of emergency or to save your money temporarily.

Replacement: Roof replacement is comprehensive. You can upgrade (or downgrade), give a brand new look, and have a fresh life span. You can choose this option if you are willing to do a long-time investment in your property.

Types of Shingles:

GAF Royal Sovereign

3-Tab Shingles

Economic line of asphalt shingles. It is a shingle layered and is the only one that can be installed on top of the existing layer. However, life expectancy is relevantly short (10-20 yrs).

GAF Timberline HD

Architectural Shingles

Most popular type of asphalt shingles. It is laminated and protects the roof structure very well. It last significantly longer (about 25-50 yrs) than 3-Tab Shingles.

GAF Grand Canyon

Designer Shingles

Special type of asphalt shingles. It is laminated and has an aesthetic appearance that often resembles other types of roofing material such as Cedar & Shake or Slate. However. it is costly, limitedly available, and needed special installation.

GAF shingles:

Most of our customers knew about this brand. We recommended this to customers who like to fix their roof themselves, because it was the only brand that we found available in home stores including The Home Depot and Lowe's.

Owens Corning shingles:

Often, our customers knew about its pink panther logos. We recommended this to customers whose property was located in windy climate, because fibers on nailing zone hold roofing nails so well. I could not take off the shingles myself.

ATLAS shingles:

Our customers were familiar with 3M patented Scotchgard. We recommended this to customers whose roof is stained or covered by algae and molds, because Scotchgard protects the roof from stains, algae, and molds growth.

What to Expect During A Roof Installation

Our roofers use flat head shovels to remove the old shingles and high powered nailing guns to ensure all the shingles are fastened properly. It will be LOUD for the duration of the project.

While we are removing all the old roofing materials, there will be piles of garbage and debris around your home. Please do not walk around your home as falling debris and nails on the ground can HURT you. Once all the old materials are removed, we will make sure you can go out and into your home safely.

There will be a dumpster placed in your driveway for garbage and debris. We will notify you before the dumpster arrives and we will need you to remove your car from the garage. We don’t want you to be LOCKED IN.

Consistent Roof Cleanup

On each job, shingles are being torn off, and nails are flying everywhere. We perform a final clean up of all areas around the house and wheel around a giant magnetic roller to pick up any metal scraps and nails. You may still find some after the job is complete. If you find about a coffee cup’s worth of nails, we’ll come back and perform another full sweep of your property.

To protect your garden flowers and trees, we cover them with a tarp. At the end of the job, you may notice some flattened or dead grass. We do our best to ensure this doesn’t happen but sometimes it can be unavoidable.

Roofing Installations On Your Schedule

When we notify you to schedule a start date, please keep in mind it is dependent on weather. We do NOT want to work on a rainy or snowy day that will wet your roof deck. So, we will keep watch out for the weather and let you know ahead of time.
